Losing my focus

Today I felt a little unfocused, not able to see a theme for the portfolio. With each exercise Precious, Shadow and Light and walkabout I have tried to capture different things, and stretch my experience of using the camera. The only problem is that in doing this I have not paid much attention to editing, and here I am with all these photos and a lack of confidence in how to string a group of them together.

So I went into town for an hour this afternoon and tried to take my time, enjoy seeing, and then when I found something I liked tried to see what it was that I liked about it and make sure that this is what I frame, nothing else. It took a while but I feel a few images are okay, and with more time I could have got into a rhythm. I see know how I can be too fast and move on too quickly. Yet a want to be quick with my camera controls so I don't miss those random moments.

As Meighan said "photography is hard"

Here are some of the shots
